- The Office for Equity & Inclusion is
proud to announce the appointment of Sidalia Reel, Ed.D. as the new
Director of Staff Diversity Initiatives at Berkeley. The Director of Staff Diversity
Initiatives is a new position on campus charged with engaging staff and
management to ensure staff diversity throughout the campus at all levels of

currently hiring an IDEAL Student Services Coordinator – STEM Advisor. This

- The SAGE Scholars will host their annual
Young Leaders Diversity Conference on January 31, 2008 at Kaiser's Conference Center. Participants will include UC
Berkeley SAGE Scholars, their high school mentees and professionals in many
various careers. Participants work together on diversity issues and provide
students with a network of people in careers that low income students aren't
